Erie County In-Home Childcare Mini Grant Application - Child Safety

Erie County is administering mini grants between $250 and $1,500 to licensed family and group in-home childcare providers who are seeking financial assistance for specific item(s) that will improve the safety of the childcare environment.  

Grant Requirements:

• Applicant must run a licensed in-home daycare.
• Applicant must be able to furnish photos/screenshots of the items they intend to purchase.
• Items for intended purchase must improve the safety of the childcare environment.

The following expenses are not eligible uses of funds:

• Housing renovations
• Toys, games, etc.
• Electronics for children
• Non-childcare related items
• Cleaning products/appliances
• Items that are prohibited in daycares
